I am a Grossman Center postdoctoral scholar at Columbia University. I work with Liam Paninski, Mark Churchland, and John Cunningham. My current research is on dynamical systems modeling of cortical activity and neuron type identification.
Previously, I was at M.I.T., working with Sebastian Seung. I obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering (and a PhD minor in Mathematics) at Stanford University, working at the Magnetic Resonance Systems Research Laboratory. My thesis advisor was John Pauly.
