Take a look at this paper. This is closely related to some of the issues that Andrew just spoke about in class. The paper discusses models that deal with non-ingnorable missing data situations and includes WinBUGS code. Here are some simulated data that are similar to the Carpenter asthma application. The second column represents treatment (1 or 2) and the next five columns are measurements of a reponse at times 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Some of the values are missing. Use Carpenters et al's approch to explore sensitivity to the missing data mechanism in this context.
