Note: a couple steps in the following may appear to hang for ever. You don't have to wait there for hours or believe it doesn't work. Just cancel it after 15 minutes. Then try again, and it will go through quickly.

1. download the HP network printer wizard installer

http://www.stat.columbia.edu/~liu/hpjsi_en.exe

save it to a directory that you remember.

2. double click to run it.  Follow the menus to install the HP Network Printer Install Wizard.

3. To be able to print from your PC to the printers in the Dept office, click Start->Programs->HP Install Network Printer Wizard->HP Install Network Printer Wizard.  Then follow instructions to install the printer.

Answers to some questions that you might get confused are:

In the "Identify Printer" window, you choose
    Specify a printer by address
  and then click "Next",

specify its IP as: 128.59.111.13 to be able to print to the black&white printer, or
specify its IP as: 128.59.111.14 to be able to print to the color printer

4. In the "Network Configuration" window, you leave the default "Check HP's website for a driver(automatic check)" as it is and click "Next".
In the "Drivers from web" window, accept the default and click "next".

5. Accept the default all the way to the Finish.

6. run from 3. again and specify another ip to install the other printer.
