Oui, je ne parle pas courament francais. Mais j'ai fait la presentation en francais et je pense que ca fait mieux. Quand je fait une presentation en francais ou espagnol, je dois parle tres lentement, et c'est mieux pour les etudiants. J'ai demande qu'ils m'ont demande leurs questions en anglais.

What about Latin too? For "an alumni" read "an alumnus".
Feynman in his "Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman" has a lot of stories of him as a visiting professor in Brazil including one where he essentially makes the same point – his 'bad' Portuguese lectures are much more helpful to the students than his fluent English ones would be.
It's a really fun book all around, too.
