2006 graduate summer internship in statistics:

Summer intern positions in statistics are available at the IBM T. J. Watson
Research Center for graduate students working toward a Ph.D. degree in
statistics or a related field. The position is with Statistical Analysis &
Forecasting group in Mathematical Sciences Department, and is for an
approximately three-month period in summer 2006. Applicants should have
strong background and interest in methodological development and in
problem solving. The summer intern is expected to contribute to an applied
project, and to conduct research related to the project. Possible projects
include:
Demand/revenue forecasting
Longitudinal business/financial data analysis
Capacity/resource planning
Enterprise market intelligence
Software reliability
IT System monitoring, modeling, and adjusting
