The department offers free statistical consulting to the Columbia community.
Spring drop-in consulting hours are Mondays from 2:30 to 4:00 PM, Tuesdays from 2:30 to 4:00 PM (except over the spring break). Consulting is located at 1255 Amsterdam Avenue in the 10th Floor Conference Room. You may also make an appointment for times outside of drop-in hours.
It is not necessary, but it would be helpful, to provide the consultants with some background information before you arrive at the consulting hours. Click here to send us background information or to make an appointment for a consultation outside of drop-in hours.

The service is offered in cooperation with the Center for the Social Sciences and with the Department of Biostatistics. Consulting at at the Center for the Social Sciences may be arranged by emailing iserp-stats@columbia.edu. Consulting at the Department of Biostatistics may be arranged by calling 212.305.9398. Statistical advice is also available from Electronic Data Services (EDS).
