Courses Approved for Credit for the M.A. in Statistics

The courses listed below are approved for credit for the M.A. in Statistics.

A study program that comprises only courses that have been approved for credit does not thereby automatically satisfy the requirements for graduation: programs must also comprise a coherent program of study and also satisfy the core-course requirements. Students should therefore be sure to confer with the M.A. adviser prior registration.

Courses not on this list may sometimes be approved as electives by the M.A. adviser. Please note, however, that topics courses and seminar courses are generally not approved. Statistics courses offered in other departments, other than the ones listed below, also are generally not approved. A syllabus for the course in question is required when requesting approval.
